Seeds for a Better World Podcast

Plant it. Grow it. Spread it.

It started as Brilliantly Branded

For three years and 136 episodes, this show was called the Brilliantly Branded Podcast. Same chair, same microphone, same conversations. Somewhere around episode 100 I looked at what I had actually been recording all that time, and branding was not the word for it.

Every person who sat in front of me had something only they could do. A way of teaching. A way of noticing what nobody else noticed. A way of holding a room. And every one of them was using it to grow something for people who were not them.

That is a seed. It took me a hundred episodes to find the word.

Then it became part of something bigger

I am Colombian and I live in Luxembourg, and at some point I stopped trying to choose between the two. Seeds for a Better World is the association I built out of both. People here get a place to be heard. Children in rural Colombia get school.

The podcast is where the first half happens. So it carries the name now. Same channel, same feed, nothing to resubscribe to. All 136 episodes stay exactly where they are.

What happens in an episode

A real conversation with someone who has lived something. Someone who rebuilt themselves, led against the odds, or built something out of the truest part of who they are.

Every guest opens by naming what they are planting and who it grows for.

Every episode ends with one thing you can do this week, without money and without permission.

Nobody sells anything here. No programmes, no courses, no offers. That is the condition of coming on, and it is why you can listen with your guard down.

Leaders, founders, artists, scientists, teachers, and people who simply had the courage to show up whole. Guests from across the world. Building towards 200 episodes.

Hosted by Maria Lucia Romero, Colombian, based in Luxembourg, branding expert and community builder.

Two Global Goals

The podcast contributes directly to two United Nations Global Goals.

SDG 4, Quality Education. The awareness and the funding this show generates keep children in rural Colombia in school.

SDG 5, Gender Equality. Every episode gives a woman a stage, an audience, and the visibility she has earned, along with the tools to act on it.

For companies

When your company sponsors a live event or appears alongside this show, you are seen inside something people already trust, because nothing is sold from this stage.

One sponsor per sector. Every contribution is a donation to the association, and you receive a certificate for it.
